Hi, Tammy here again, owner and stylist at Picasso Salon & Spa with this month’s Picasso’s Pick. With the start of the New Year, we decided to do something different this month with our Picasso’s Pick. Now that the holiday season is coming to a close, many of you probably have gift cards to spend or gifts that need to be returned. With that in mind, this month we choose Red Mill Commons Shopping Center as our Picasso’s Pick.
According to their website, “Red Mill Commons is a dynamic shopping center in Virginia Beach, Virginia featuring some of the biggest names in retail including Home Depot, Super Wal-Mart, TJ Maxx, Target, Office Max and a unique mix of 80 other stores.” We feel it is so much more than that! Of course, you will find our salon here in Red Mill Commons, but you can make an entire day out of this shopping center. Along with those big name retail stores, you will find some of the best places for lunch or dinner and if you are an early bird, even breakfast.
Here at Red Mill Commons Shopping Center the eateries are endless. If you are on-the-go, you can choose from fast food places like our new Taco Bell or Wendy’s and 5 Guys Burgers and Fries. If you need to plug-in there’s Panera. For a sports fix, we have a Buffalo Wild Wings. You can choose from Italian, Thai, Chinese, Mexican, Seafood or good old American like Chili’s or Outback. Red Mill Commons even has a place for made-to-order donuts. And that’s just a sample of the eateries!
There is shopping too! You’ll find shoes stores and Dress Barn, a brand new Home Goods and Michaels. There’s Hallmark and Game Stop, a place to buy bikinis and a couple places for surf wear. You can do your banking, drop off a package at the UPS Store and even get your dog groomed at Petco.
There are so many options at Red Mill Commons Shopping Center to explore. So next time you are making an appointment here at Picasso Salon & Spa, leave a little time either before or after your appointment to enjoy a meal, shopping or errands at Red Mill Commons Shopping Center. And… don’t forget to tell everyone that you read about it in Picasso’s Picks.
